When a pump operates at a lower flow rate than the minimum required in the technical documentation, hydraulic instability, excessive mechanical stress on the bearings and overheating conditions may arise. The pump should works within a flow range near the BEP point in order to ensure a long mechanical life of the components and containing the energy consumption of the system.
