What happens if the pump works with a too high capacity?

When a pump operates at a flow rate greater than the maximum specified in the technical documentation, hydraulic and mechanical instability phenomena may arise compromising the components of the pump and the driving motor. The pump should works within a flow range close to the BEP point in order to ensure a long mechanical life of the components and containe the energy consumption of the system.
