The different centrifugal pump types allow a wide range of applications.
For example, the pump types we are focusing on are useful for: irrigation, water supply, water treatment.
Deep well submersible pumps
The pump is placed directly in the borehole connected by means of a delivery hose and electric cable.
The multi-stage centrifugal pump is directly connected to the electric motor into the suction support.
The well water coming into the pump assures motor cooling.
For standard applications, the pump and the motor rotors run in liquid lubricated journal bearings. Axial thrust is supported by a Mitchell-type bearing into the motor.
The Rovatti Submersible pumps cover the size range between 4'' and 14'' with maximum flow 540 m3/h and maximum head 500 m.
The submersible pump consist of an electrical motor at the bottom side of the well, a directly coupled pumps body, a non return valve and a delivery column pipe.
Vertical lineshaft pumps
The pump is placed in the borehole, connected by a delivery hose and a lineshaft in it.
The lineshaft is driven by a surface motor.
The connection of the two is made by a drive head.
For standard applications, the multistage pump is very close to the deep well submersible pump type.
These surface pump type is a practical and safe solution for irrigation purpose.
The two main applications are automatic irrigation machines and motor pump sets.

Surface multistage electrical pumps: applications
The Rovatti surface multistage electrical pumps are available in the horizontal and vertical executions for agricultural and industrial uses with 200 m3/h maximum flow and over 250 m head.
